Maternity photography is a celebration of relationships.

The relationship between you and your partner.

You and your little ones.

You and your baby.

And most importantly Mama, your relationship with you.

Because whether this is your first baby or not, life is about to change in a pretty big way.

You may not realise this yet, but you are about to say goodbye to who you are right now.  You cannot give birth, whether your first or fifth baby, and remain unchanged.

You will still be in there of course, but for a while ‘you’ will be buried underneath nappies and feeds, bath-time and cuddles, and pat-pat-pat to sleep.

Creating a tiny human is mind-blowingly amazing.  And while you will love your little person to the moon and back, there will be times when you would like to remember who you were before you were this person called Mummy.

So, maternity photos are part of the journey.  They are part of yours and your little one’s tale.  They are important.

A pregnant body is strong and soft.

Glowing and sensual.

Beauty and form.

Blooming.

A miracle.

I capture all of these things, but most of all I capture connection.

The light within.

You.
