Welcome, friends.  It is with great joy that I share my first post for Firefly Tales Photography.

This has been a long time coming – something I have dreamed about and planned.  Ideas became bigger and bigger, and finally here I sit, in my beautiful new studio, immersed in light and love ready to share my vision with you.

I will be sharing images of this space in time, but for now, let me tell you about Firefly Tales.  It is, I am, about finding beauty in small things.  Things that might normally go unnoticed.

Below are all images of plants I found in my garden.   At a quick glance they just look like fairly generic plants, but on looking at them closely, you can notice so much detail.

The softness, the tiny flowers, a single strand of a spider web.

No need to adorn them, pose them or change them in any way.

Each is different, but all are intricate, perfect designs in themselves.    There is magic everywhere!

We just have to take the time to notice it.

 

 

Firefly Tales is about heart and presence.

Seeing the light within.

Telling each little person’s very own tale, in their own way.

Telling your tale.  Nurturing you.

Taking time out just to be with your little one.

To soak him or her in.  To notice the details.

To cherish the moment.

Natural, simple, beautiful.

Mindful.

This blog will be about sharing that beauty and joy.  Ideas and creation.  Love.
